Through our partnership with Mitsubishi Electric, we are professionals in designing, supplying, installing, commissioning and maintaining air source heat pumps.
The air source heat pump is generally thought of as the future heating solution for rural homes in today's 'green minded' climate. Scottish Building Standards now demand a high degree of energy efficiency which will only increase as governments around the world strive to acheive carbon emission reduction targets within the next 20 years. The air source heat pump provides affordable green energy and runs quietly in the background. There is no reason why the air source heat pump cannot be retro fitted and we have seen impressive results in the hundreds of heat pumps installed in Hebridean Housing Parnership (HHP) housing and private housing during the previous 8 years by our company. Like all renewable energy, the air source heat pump is eligible for Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) so when a customer installs this type of heating system they are rewarded with quarterly payments by Ofgem over a fixed 7 year period. Depending on the EPC for the house which is produced after the heat pump has been installed, this can amount to up to £11,500 over the 7 year period at the current rate of 10.71p/kwh. The RHI is set to come to an end on 31st April 2021 so get your quotation requests in to us fast before you miss out on the opportunity to take advantage of this scheme.
The Home Energy Scotland renewables loan scheme is funded by the Scottish Government and is currently open to applications. Interest free loans of up to £10,000 are available to owner occupiers in Scotland who wish to install an air source heating system, so getting the capital funding for the investment could not be easier.
The way we see it, there has never been a better time to install air source heating in Scotland as these systems more than pay for themselves through efficiency, RHI income and the interest free loan scheme. The award winning Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pump is our product of choice and our Mitsubishi trained engineers are primed and ready for service. We are the only Mitsubishi Heating Business Solutions Partner in the Western Isles so can comfortably offer our customers a 7 year guarantee on the heat pump units and a 3 year guarantee on the FTC5 domestic hot water cylinders as well as ongoing maintenance services. Our MCS accredidation for air source heat pumps has been held since 2011.
