AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
We design, install, commission and maintain Air Source heating & hot water systems in the Western Isles.
There is only one renewable heating solution available to the public today in the Western Isles and all throughout our country which can be installed affordably and conveniently. Ladies and gentleman, may we introduce to you the Air Source Heating & Hot Water System.
The superb Mitsubishi Ecodan with its latest FTC6 (Flow Temperature Controller V.6) and pressurised pre-plumbed hot water cylinder provides brilliant efficiency for every home.
Using a model such as the new 8.5kW Ecodan, the SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance) is as high as 3.48 even when maxing out the system with a 55 degree flow temperature. Don’t be encouraged to actually run your heat pump that hard, because of course the most efficient way to heat a home (with radiators for example) is by using a lower flow temperature, such as 45 degrees. When you do that, the SCOP level is increased to a magnificently high 4.14! In other words, the heat pump would produce 414% of energy from 100% of energy used to run it. 314% of your space heating would be produced by something free to us all, the outside air. Pretty efficient no?
Don’t listen to the naesayer who tells you that “it isn’t really as efficient as they say”. If designed correctly, relative to specific circumstances in a home, and set-up using optimal control settings, this is the number one heating solution on the mass market today that can reduce your energy bills.
As a Mitsubishi Heating Business Solutions Partner we provide extended guarantees on their products.
